Terms of Purchase
1. General
These terms apply to all orders placed with Sveacarbon AB (reg. no. 559519-0959), Filaregatan 13, 442 34 Kungälv, Sweden ("Sveacarbon", "we") through sveacarbon.com. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.
2. Products and made-to-order production
Our parts are made to order. When you order, you select the specification yourself – bike make, model and year, weave, colour, flakes, finish and any other options. Carbon fibre is a hand-made material: small variations in weave pattern, finish and surface between individual parts can occur and are not defects. Images on the website are illustrative and may differ slightly from the delivered product.
3. Prices and payment
All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is made when you order. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing and typing errors; if such an error is discovered before delivery we may correct or cancel the order, and any payment will be refunded.
4. Production time and delivery
Production starts once payment is completed. Production usually takes 4–6 weeks; complex parts can take longer. Need a precise date? Contact us before ordering. Stated production times are estimates and can be affected by material supply and order volume. The order is shipped when the part is finished. Delays caused by the carrier or by circumstances beyond our control do not give a right to compensation beyond what follows from mandatory law.
5. Right of withdrawal and returns
Fork covers and phone cases. As a consumer you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the item. Notify us by email within the 14 days and return the item within 14 days of notifying us, unused and in the same condition as delivered. You pay the return shipping. We refund the purchase price and the original standard shipping within 14 days of your notice, but may wait until we have received the item. If the item has been fitted, used or damaged, we may deduct for the loss in value.
All other parts. All other parts are made to order to the specification you select when ordering. Under chapter 2, section 11, point 3 of the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications. These parts cannot be returned, and an order cannot be changed or cancelled once production has started. Check model, fitment and specification carefully before you order.
Your rights if a part is faulty (section 6) apply to every order and are not affected by this section.
6. Inspection and complaints
Inspect the item carefully when you receive it. Report visible transport damage to us without delay, if possible on delivery, and keep the packaging. Complaints about faulty goods are handled under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (2022:260) and must be made within a reasonable time after the fault was discovered. Returns of faulty items are made after contacting us and are approved after we have inspected the item. Faults caused by incorrect fitting, external impact, modification or abnormal use are not covered.
7. Fitting and use
Parts must be fitted by a competent person. Sveacarbon is not responsible for damage to the part, vehicle or person caused by incorrect fitting, own machining or modification of the part. Some parts are intended for track use only; you are responsible for checking that a part is permitted for use on public roads.
8. Limitation of liability
Except as required by mandatory consumer law, Sveacarbon is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of use of a vehicle, a missed race or other consequential costs.
9. Force majeure
Sveacarbon is not liable for delay or non-delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as shortage of raw materials, transport disruption, industrial action, fire, government action or similar. Production and delivery times are extended accordingly.
10. Disputes
Swedish law applies to these terms. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, consumers can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden, www.arn.se. We follow ARN's recommendations. Consumers in the EU can also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country.
