Start with what you have

Don't have a CAD file?

You don't need a complete engineering package to start. We review photos, drawings, dimensions and existing components — and come back with what we can make, how, and at what price.

What we can start from

  • 01Photos of the part or the bike / vehicle
  • 02Hand drawings or sketches with key dimensions
  • 03Measurements
  • 04An existing component we can use as a pattern
  • 05CAD files (STEP / IGES) — if you have them

Capabilities

What we do in-house

Sveacarbon is a specialist, not a mass producer. We take on carbon parts that need attention to detail and hand finishing — from one to a recurring small series.

01

Development

From your original part, drawings, CAD or photos to a manufacturable carbon component.

02

Tooling

Moulds taken from existing components or patterns where the geometry allows.

03

Composite layup

Hand lay-up of carbon-fibre reinforcement in our own workshop.

04

Vacuum consolidation

Vacuum-bagged for a compact, void-free laminate.

05

Curing

Controlled cure before demoulding and trimming.

06

Finishing

Surface preparation, embossed logo, coloured weaves, flakes and a UV-resistant clear coat.

07

Inspection

Every part is checked individually before it ships.

08

Small-series production

Repeatable batches of the same component — the volumes large composite plants decline.

Tolerances, materials and volumes are confirmed per project in the quote. We only state what we actually do.

Applications

Where our carbon ends up

Motorcycle

Premium aftermarket and custom components for enduro, supermoto and MX.

Motorsport

Race components and performance applications — light, stiff, visual.

Automotive

Lightweight and visual carbon components for interior and exterior.

Product development

Prototype and small-series carbon parts for companies developing new products.

Custom components

Projects that don't fit a standard product — enclosures, replacement parts, one-offs.

Process

Five steps. No surprises.

  1. Project

You submit the project via the RFQ form — photos, drawings, measurements, CAD or the original component.

  2. Review

We evaluate feasibility, material, layup, tooling and volumes — and return a written quote.

  3. Development

Where appropriate, a first article or prototype is produced for your approval.

  4. Production

Hand lay-up, vacuum consolidation, cure and finishing in our workshop.

  5. Delivery

Inspected, clear-coated and shipped — one part or the whole batch.

Work

From the workshop

Real parts, real finishes. Customer case studies are published as customers approve them.
